Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the ToolsHub website (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
Use of the Service
ToolsHub provides free online tools that run entirely in your browser. You may use the Service for any lawful purpose, including personal, educational, and commercial use. You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal activity or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract source code from the Service (beyond what is naturally visible in browser Developer Tools).
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service in a way that sends more requests than a human reasonably could.
- Use the Service to process copyrighted material without permission of the copyright holder.
- Embed, mirror, or rebrand the Service as your own without explicit written permission.
Intellectual Property
The Service's source code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript in our own files) is provided for your personal and commercial use. The third-party JavaScript libraries we use (such as browser-image-compression, Cropper.js, qrcode.js, @img/background-removal, and JSZip) are licensed under their respective open-source licenses (typically MIT or Apache 2.0) and remain the property of their authors.
User Content
Since all tools run client-side, any files you process (images, text, etc.) remain entirely on your device. We do not host, store, or transmit your content. You retain all rights to your content and are solely responsible for it.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Specifically:
- We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
- We do not warrant that the results obtained from using the Service (such as compressed images, generated passwords, or removed backgrounds) will be accurate, reliable, or fit for any particular purpose.
- You are solely responsible for any decisions made based on output from the Service. For example, a password generated by our Password Generator should still be evaluated for your specific security needs.
- We are not responsible for any data loss resulting from the use of our tools. Always keep backups of your original files.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall ToolsHub, its operators, or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation:
- Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
- Damages resulting from the use of or inability to use the Service.
- Damages resulting from any output produced by the Service (such as a corrupted image or a weak generated password).
Advertisements
The Service displays advertisements served by Google AdSense and potentially other advertising networks. These advertisers may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. We do not control which specific ads are displayed and are not responsible for the content of advertisements.
External Links
The Service may contain links to external websites (such as our blog, third-party libraries' documentation, or reference materials). We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of these external sites.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Since the Service is provided for free and without account creation, "termination" effectively means blocking access at the IP or user-agent level.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved through informal negotiation first, and if that fails, through binding arbitration.
